Directors

Anna Ohana

"The next chapter of CMP: bolder ideas, stronger teams, greater impact.”

Currently pursuing a double major in International Business and Marketing, I’ve always been passionate about solving business challenges through strategy, collaboration, and creativity. My experiences in global brand marketing at Mattel, product strategy at Air Canada, and competitive case competitions have shown me that the greatest growth happens when you’re challenged to think differently.

That is exactly what CMP did for me. As a former analyst, CMP transformed the way I approach problem-solving while introducing me to an incredible community of driven, ambitious individuals. Today, it is an honour to serve as Managing Director and help create that same experience for the next generation of student consultants.

Our vision is simple: continue raising the standard. We want every mandate to be more tailored, every challenge more meaningful, and every analyst to leave the program with greater confidence, stronger relationships, and a consulting experience they’ll be proud to talk about long after graduation.

CMP has always been about creating value for our clients, for our analysts, and for the organizations we partner with. This year, we are excited to build on that legacy and make the experience even stronger than before.

"CMP gave me the confidence to know no accomplishment was out of reach. My job this year is to make sure every analyst leaves with that same certainty"

Returning to the Consulting Mandate Program as Director is a full-circle moment. As an analyst, I worked with Intelcom, helping shape their last-mile delivery technology strategy. Working through client problems with real stakes, deadlines, and stakeholders allowed me to walk into my summer internship feeling confident that no accomplishment would be out of reach.

Everything I've done since has reinforced why programs like CMP matter. My studies in Accounting and Economics have trained me to break problems down analytically, but it was CMP that taught me to turn analysis into recommendations a client can act on. This past summer at Deloitte, working as a Tax & Legal Analyst, I drew on the skills CMP gave me every day. That experience also sharpened and informed my long-term goal of pursuing a J.D. in the United States, where the same abilities consulting demands – structured thinking, clear communication, logical reasoning – are the foundation of legal work.

That's what drives me as Director this year; I know firsthand what this program can set in motion. My goal is to build and run this program in a way that provides analysts the bedrock to build their career on. What I'm most looking forward to is watching it happen. Seeing analysts walk into their first client meeting nervous and walk out of their final presentation certain they belong in the room. The program shaped where I'm headed; I can't wait for Sabrina, Anna, and me to do the same for you.

"CMP gave me the opportunity to challenge myself, grow professionally, and build confidence in my abilities. My goal is to create that same experience for every analyst who joins the program."

Being given the opportunity to be Co-Director of the Consulting Mandate Program is incredibly rewarding for me, especially when I think of how my journey with CMP started. I still remember walking into a JMSB conference room shortly after achieving the role of junior analyst last year, feeling both nervous and excited to meet the accomplished group of peers I was about to work with for the next two semesters. My feeling of self-apprehension turned to self-confidence as I learned from incredible consultants throughout sessions and workshops, developing the structured thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills that define great consultants. Applying those skills during my mandate with HireUp cemented a real trust in my own capability as my team and I worked directly with founders, tackled complex business challenges, and successfully presented strategic recommendations.

Since then, I've realized that what CMP teaches extends far beyond consulting itself. As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Lifter, I use the same analytical mindset to solve business problems, develop growth strategies, and communicate recommendations to clients. My recent experience in real estate leasing has reinforced the importance of building trust, understanding client needs, and adapting quickly to new challenges. Even when competing in case competitions, I am able to excel by drawing on the same foundation I learned in CMP of approaching ambiguity with structure, communicating ideas clearly, and turning data into solutions.

Looking ahead, I hope to build a career in consulting before eventually starting my own business in an industry I'm passionate about, whether that's marketing or health and wellness. I see consulting as the best way to learn from diverse businesses, solve meaningful problems, and develop the skills needed to become an entrepreneur.

Alongside my fellow directors, Massimo and Anna, I'm committed to ensuring every student leaves CMP with firm-ready consulting skills, meaningful friendships, greater confidence in their abilities, and an ambition that shapes the direction of their careers. I can't wait to watch the next cohort discover just how much they're capable of.
